Renew Skin Rx

Are your makeup brushes bad for you?

We use makeup brushes every day as part of our beauty regime. Every day use contaminates them with bacteria, dead skin cells and old makeup. Different face creams, powders, oils, clump together and eventually will land on your skin that you just spent hours cleaning. You may wonder why you are experiencing breakouts, infections or allergies, like skin rashes.

What to do: Clean your powder brushes every week. Shampoo is a great way to lather up and rinse off with warm water.  Rinse off with handle up and let dry on a clean paper towel or towel. Clean your liquid foundation brush daily for a fresh crisp clean application every time.
